Hello, I’m Kimberly Lenihan, founder of Advanced Electrolysis.
I became a Licensed Electrologist over 21 years ago in Massachusetts, and not long after, I discovered the beauty and warmth of Naples, Florida, where I’ve proudly continued my practice ever since.
My journey with electrolysis is personal. As a teenager, I struggled with unwanted facial hair—specifically on my upper lip and sideburns. It was a difficult and often embarrassing experience. Fortunately, my Italian mother, who was undergoing electrolysis herself, introduced me to the treatment—and it changed my life. The gift of permanent hair removal gave me confidence and freedom, and I knew I wanted to share that same gift with others.
After earning my degree in business, my passion for helping people and desire to build something meaningful came together—and Advanced Electrolysis was born.

Hi, I’m Darleen, a Florida Licensed Electrologist, and proud member of the Advanced Electrolysis team for the past three years.
My passion for this work comes from personal experience. I’ve been in your shoes, and I understand how unwanted hair can affect your self-image, confidence, and quality of life. Many of us try to hide it with temporary fixes—hoping no one will notice—but the emotional toll is real. The truth is, far more people struggle with unwanted hair than you might think. Leah is a licensed Florida Electrologist and proud graduate of Gulf Coast Academy. With a lifelong interest in cosmetology and hair removal, she brings both passion and personal experience to her work at Advanced Electrolysis.
As a long-time client of founder Kimberly Lenihan, Leah has experienced the transformative, long-term benefits of electrolysis firsthand. That personal journey inspired her to pursue a career where she could help others achieve the same confidence and freedom she found through permanent hair removal.
